car after shopping in Los Angeles. Geri, 30, who has had dieting problems,

She hasn't had
the best of luck with men but, for the first time, Geri Halliwell
has dished the dirt on her disastrous dates. The 30-year-old singer
and TV presenter - recently linked with Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst -
says since moving to Los Angeles she has been out with seven men and
none came up to scratch.
"The first one
was a bit uptight - too effeminate, possibly gay," she says in her
updated version of her book Just For The Record. "With the second
I put a note through his door but got no reply! The third was a lapdog
- he wanted to move in after our first date. "The fourth was a serial
texter and couldn't get beyond that. "Number five was trying to overly
impress, telling me his bank balance and offering me career advice...
I quite liked number six but wasn't sure what we had in common. "And
as for my 'lucky' number seven, life just pushed us apart." What a
line-up, Gezza. Move over Renee Zellweger - we've found the real-life
Bridget Jones!

Geri
Halliwell has confessed she feared she would never be able to have
babies because of her obsessive dieting. The former Spice Girl says
she got so thin her body shut down and she stopped having periods.
It was then she realised she had gone too far. The fuller and, quite
frankly, much healthier-looking Geri we’ve been seeing pictures of
in Los Angeles lately is a result of her reawakening. She has at last
admitted the ultra-skinny body she starved and exercised herself senseless
to get was a huge mistake. And she wants to warn other women not to
do the same. Geri says: “At one point, regardless of how fit I was
looking, my body just wasn’t working properly. “My menstrual cycle
had disappeared, unsurprisingly with the weight loss and stress. But
the thought of not being able to have children really was a good wake-up
call for me. “So nowadays when it’s that time of the month and I feel
grouchy and my boobs swell up two cup sizes and my clothes feel tight,
I try to see it as a blessing from Mother Nature. “I don’t want to
be back abusing myself with food or exercise. “So I eat three meals
a day with two snacks, my food portions have increased and my exercise
has decreased. “My body has gained a little weight but actually it
feels really healthy.” I’ve known Geri since the early days of the
Spice Girls and her dangerous obsession with being thin has haunted
her like an illness. At one stage during her crazy regime, she was
snapped doing yoga in Italy and her painfully thin figure spoke volumes.
I remember meeting her at the album launch for her Scream If You Wanna
Go Faster two years ago. She had just flown back from a stay in LA
and when she saw me she gave me a hug — and it was disturbing. Her
arms were so thin I thought they might snap if I held her too tight.
Now at last, at the age of 30, she seems to be happy with her body.
And it’s nice to see Geri looking healthy and at her best again —
with a womanly figure. Geri tells all about her new-found happiness
in an updated version of her autobiography, Just For The Record. She
says: “My story shows it doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve
got. We all have to struggle with ourselves. “I am pretty well off,
I can pay my bills, I own my house and I don’t really have to work.
I am fit and healthy, I have lovely friends and a wonderful family.
“But none of that is the key to happiness. “I have learned that the
only thing that enables someone to be happy is self-acceptance.” She
also talks for the first time about the Spice Girls’ reunion dinner,
in February, and says they will NEVER get back together — unless it’s
for a charity gig. She says: “A reunion? Things that were such a moment
in time are hard to recapture, like an intense, burning love affair
that can’t last and is hard to reignite. I would be afraid it would
never be the same again. “Never say never, though. If it was a fun
charity thing, who knows? Imagine us five with our Zimmer frames doing
the zig a zig aah.”

the reality show All American Girl, in which Geri has been involved
for 3 months now, ended. It was in front of millions of televiewers
that the finale took place. Jessica, 22, won the finale over Kristi,
23, with a difference of 1,000 votes. These two girls were in the
team coached by Geri.

in the upcoming movie Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines --T3

If anybody were
actually watching ABC's "All American Girl," they'd probably be outraged.
A glitch in the national telephone voting process was discovered by
the show's producers early on and attributed to problems with phone
service providers. The producers, eager to preserve the integrity
of something people are already ignoring in large numbers, ordered
all scenes affected by the problem to be reshot. That includes bringing
back contestants dismissed as a result of the error. "Once we were
informed that the vote may have been affected, we saw no other option
than to re-tape the program and give America a second opportunity
to vote," says Conrad Green, one of the show's co-executive producers.
Featuring former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, former NBA player John
Salley and Suzanne de Passe as coaches, "All American Girl" premiered
to poor ratings in March and has already migrated over to ABC Family
for the remainder of its run. It averaged just over 5.4 million viewers
per episode and ranked 129 out of 204 shows between the networks and
PAX. The "All American Girl" winner will be announced on the show's
Saturday, May 24 finale on ABC Family.

X-men 2 premiere which took place in Holliwood, on Tuesday, April
29th. Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Famke Janssen, John Stamos, Alan Cumming
and Hugh Jackman were also on the blue carpet, along with Marvel Comics
Chairman Stan Lee and director Bryan Singer. Among the guests at Grauman's
Chinese Theatre were Alice Cooper, Geri Halliwell, David Hasselhoff,
Amanda Bynes and contestants from American Idol. The film is set to
open in US cinemas this Friday, and is already tipped to be one of
the year's biggest blockbusters.
